The space beneath a staircase is often one of the most underused areas in a home. I design and build bespoke pull-out storage systems that transform this awkward space into practical, accessible storage. Instead of difficult-to-reach cupboards or wasted voids, the entire depth of the space can be used efficiently.
Each system is designed specifically for the staircase, built in my workshop, and installed with the same care and attention to detail that goes into making it.
A practical solution designed around your space
Unlike off-the-shelf storage solutions, bespoke under-stairs cabinetry allows the space to be used properly. Because every staircase is different, I design each project specifically around the available space and what you want to store.
Traditional cupboards under the stairs often waste the deeper parts of the void because they are difficult to reach. Pull-out systems solve this by allowing the entire storage unit to slide forward, giving easy access to everything inside. Every system is built to the exact dimensions of the space, working around sloping ceilings, structural supports, awkward corners, and irregular wall lines.

I build using furniture-grade materials and reliable hardware designed for long-term performance, including heavy-duty concealed runners rated to carry significant weight, and soft-close mechanisms for smooth everyday use.
The entire process stays with one person from start to finish. Before anything is built, the installation is modelled in detailed 3D at millimetre accuracy to plan how pull-out units will move within the staircase void and ensure there are no clearance issues. Nothing is passed between different teams, so the original design intent is carried carefully all the way to the finished piece.
