One-off commissions for spaces that don't fit a category
Not every project fits neatly into a category. Alongside kitchens, wardrobes, and fitted storage, I regularly design and build a wide range of bespoke furniture for homes across Sussex and Kent. These projects often arise where standard furniture simply doesn't work, whether because of unusual spaces, specific design requirements, or the need for something built to a particular specification.
From fitted alcove units and custom beds to home gym storage or standalone structures such as saunas, each project is approached in the same way: carefully designed, built in my workshop, and installed with close attention to detail.
A flexible approach to bespoke cabinetry
Many of the most interesting projects come from situations where standard solutions simply don't exist. Because everything I produce is made to order, I can design furniture around the exact dimensions of a room or the specific needs of a client.
Working as a small workshop allows me to use a wide range of materials depending on the project, whether that is painted cabinetry, natural timber veneers, modern laminates or solid timber components. The goal is always to create furniture that feels appropriate for the home it sits within.
What makes each piece unique is how it's made
Bespoke furniture allows me to work with the architecture of a home rather than against it, with fitted alcove cabinetry, integrated desk areas, bespoke beds, home gym storage, unusual or one-off pieces. Because everything is designed from scratch, proportions, materials and layout can all be tailored to suit the room.
The entire process stays with one person from start to finish. As with all my work, the same person who designs the furniture is also responsible for building and installing it. This keeps the process straightforward and ensures the original design intent is carried through carefully into the finished piece.
